Hey!

Iā€™m an Industrial Designer currently working in Portland, OR designing footwear at Nike.

Originally from Sacramento, California, I grew up with an obsession for sports and technology and competed around the west coast in two opposite worlds of baseball, and E-sports. The baseball side of me spent hours digging through Eastbay catalogs obsessing over cleats, bats, gloves and sunglasses, and the E-sports side on tech blogs learning to build computers and keep up with the latest headsets, computer mice and even mouse pads. One day, searching the web, I discovered that someone designed these products for a living and I was hooked.

I went on to study Industrial Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and have gained a wide variety of experiences ranging from ethnographic research, packaging design, consumer electronics, exhibit design and footwear design. I also teach an introductory footwear design class at the Academy of Art, and coordinate workshops for sketching and portfolio development.

In my free time you can find me learning new skills, reading, playing guitar, or at a sewing machine making tote bags for friends.
